$185 for a 55 minute Individual Therapy Session
I offer a free 10 min consultation to help determine if we are a good fit. This service may be eligible for insurance reimbursement and I frequently submit claims directly for clients who have plans that I am in-network with ( BCBS PPO and BlueChoice, Aetna PPO and HMO). If I am an in-network provider, your plan benefits will apply and may significantly reduce the portion that you are financially responsible for.
Additional Self-Pay Services that are not billable to insurance but allow you to receive a more customized therapy experience that works for your style of processing, schedule/availability, level of motivation and readiness to go deeper.
$250 for 90 minute Extended Therapy Session
For individuals you find themselves frequently on the verge of something very helpful when time is up and then you have to hold until the next session. The standard 50-60min sessions were designed by insurance companies, NOT therapist or clients. You do not have to be held back by their parameters.
$825 for a 3hr therapy intensive, includes a 50min intake session and 40min follow-up.
Therapy intensives are NOT just longer sessions. They are very specific, targeted therapeutic experiences that allow for a deeper dive into a topic or goal over a condensed period of time (e.g., understanding anxiety and improving your ability to cope or breaking through the next level in trauma processing). They can be done in conjunction with regular therapy (with or without me) or in lieu of weekly sessions, as a sort of Disney FastPass version of therapy. It is highly customized for you and your nervous system, so that while more intensive it is not more overwhelming. See the Services page for more details on intensives.
There are also options to schedule a package of intensives, such as two 3hr blocks or three 2hr blocks in the same week, with a very targeted approach.
Q: What can I expect at the first session?
A: The first session is call an intake appointment and is unique from other therapy sessions in that there is a great deal of information gathering. It is focused on understanding you, the reason you've scheduled an appointment, and a key part of creating a customized plan to help you reach your goals. Although scheduling the first appointment can be anxiety-inducing for many, this is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit to work together on the issues at hand, which often results in some immediate relief.
